Information You Submit
Search Terms
When a name, place, or other search term is entered into a third-party search tool, that query is sent to the provider that operates the tool. Madison Parish Inmate Population does not keep a separate site-side log of those search terms.
Messages
If a visitor sends an email or contact message, the message and return contact details may be kept long enough to review and answer it. Those messages are not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law or a valid legal process.
Automatic Technical Data
Standard web systems may collect routine details each time a page loads. This helps keep the Madison Parish resource usable and lets technical issues be found.
- Internet Protocol address.
- Browser name, settings, and version.
- Device type and operating system.
- Pages viewed and approximate time spent on them.
- Referring website, when one is available.
- Date and time of the request.
Cookies
Cookies and similar tools may be used to understand site use, support analytics, and help advertising systems work. Browser settings can refuse or delete cookies, although some features may load or measure differently when cookies are blocked.
How Data Is Used
- To keep pages available, readable, and fast.
- To send search requests to the correct partner service.
- To understand which Madison Parish pages are useful to visitors.
- To detect broken links, errors, spam, or other technical problems.
- To support advertising that may be based on general interests or browsing signals.
Outside Websites
Madison Parish Inmate Population links to sheriff pages, jail roster tools, Louisiana DPS&C and VINELink/LAVNS resources, BOP, ICE, court portals, statutes, and other outside websites. Once a visitor follows one of those links, that outside site's privacy policy and technical practices apply.
Advertising partners may also use their own tracking and measurement systems across websites. Those systems operate on the partner's platform, not as official Madison Parish Sheriff's Office, Madison Parish Jail, or Louisiana DPS&C systems.
Who May Receive Data
Personal information is not sold as a standalone list. It may still be processed or seen by limited service providers or authorities in these situations.
- Search partners that receive a query a visitor chooses to submit.
- Analytics providers that measure page use and performance.
- Advertising networks that serve or measure ads.
- Law enforcement, courts, or government bodies when a valid subpoena, court order, or similar legal demand requires disclosure.
Security Practices
Reasonable technical and administrative safeguards are used for the systems under this site's control. No internet-connected service can be promised breach-proof, and visitors should avoid sending sensitive legal, medical, financial, or custody details through ordinary contact messages.
Users Under 18
This site is intended for adults. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor has submitted information, a parent or guardian may request review and deletion.

- Ask for a copy of personal information held by this site.
- Request correction of information that is wrong or incomplete.
